It was a privilege to welcome back our patron, countertenor Michael Chance, to perform Vivaldi`s incredibly moving and atmospheric Nisi Dominus and Stabat Mater. The surroundings of the abbey were perfect for such ethereal music and Michael`s performance made us realise again how fortunate we are to have a truly world class singer as our patron. We were also treated to the talents of Jennifer Bennett and Yair Avidor of the Amphion Consort joining Norwich Baroque as guests.
